March 09, 1966
Goaltender Bruce Gamble recorded his 4th career shutout, and Frank Mahovlich scored the only goal of the game at 17:24 of the first period, in the Toronto Maple Leafs' 1-0 win against the visiting Detroit Red Wings.





March 09, 1975
Pete Mahovlich scored two goals and three assists, to give him 100 points in the season, as the Montreal Canadiens extended their NHL-record road undefeated streak to 22 straight games (14-0-8) with a 5-3 win over the Rangers, at New York.
