Jim Pappin scored at 21:11 of overtime to give the Black Hawks a 2-1 playoff win over Montreal, in game one of the Stanley Cup Finals.

May 04, 1980

Bill Barber scored four goals as the Flyers beat the North Stars 5-3 in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Semi-Finals at Minnesota. Philadelphia went on to win the Minnesota series 4 games to 1 and advanced to the Finals against the New York Islanders.
