Happy Birthday!

Birthday wishes today go out to Trevor Halverson from White River, Ontario!

Trevor was born April 6th, 1971 and was drafted by Washington in 1991. Halverson took a roundabout route into a Caps sweater. He played for a number of different minor league teams before being claimed from Washington by Anaheim in the 1993 Expansion Draft. He then floated around the IHL and the AHL until being signed as a free agent in 1998 by the team that originally drafted him.

Hockey Heritage North is a Happenin' Place! Hope to See You Here Soon!

Greetings Fellow Bloggies/Blogettes! It is April 1st, 2010, and all is well on the HHN Front! I have managed to elude all April Fools Fiascoes thus far, but there is no telling how long I will survive before falling victim to the "Ultimate Prank." I will be sure to keep you posted!

With the thermometer on the rise and the ever-shining sun illuminating our lives, I think it is safe to say that Spring has more than Sprung, it seems to have taken full root and is blossoming into what looks to be a great summer. With this said, why not take advantage of this wonderful weather and walk on down to Hockey Heritage North and check out our latest exhibits. Need something cool and refreshing? We always have cool beverages at your disposal. Located on the Western Front, there are countless opportunities for ice cream cones and other summertime treats along the Mile of Gold!

Hockey Heritage North will also be hosting some sizzling summertime socials/events. Please keep checking our website for more details.

If I Tell Five People & They Tell Five People - That's Like ... Too Much Math For Me!

Greetings fellow Bloggies/Blogettes! As I sit here wondering what I should articulate through the art of digitally engineered linguistic masterpieces - Blogging to be more precise, I have come to the conclusion that maybe, just maybe, it is time to turn the story crafting over to you!

If you have a favorite hockey moment that you would like to share, please feel free to email me a copy at: hockeyheritagenorth@gmail.com. Your stories could/may be posted here on the Hockey Heritage North Blogspot, and perhaps have featured stories shared on our own website: www.hockeyheritagenorth.ca. We can connect with other hockey enthusiasts one story at a time.

In the meantime, I encourage all of you to tell your friends, family, relatives, and neighbors about Hockey Heritage North and its Bodacious Blogs!

Until the next blog,

Tag You're It - We Want to Hear From You!

Greetings Fellow Bloggies/Blogettes! There is an underlining pandemic that continues to go overlooked. I am talking about the under-use of the Knock ... Knock Joke! Therefore, as part of the fight to keep the Knock ... Knock Joke legacy alive, I will start with one today:

Knock ... Knock
Who's There?
Wan!
Wan Who?
Wan to hear another Knock ... Knock Joke?

Not only am I a huge fan of the mind numbing Knock .. Knock joke, but I also thoroughly enjoy good old fashion fun: like Tag! But the tag I would like to play today is a form of hybrid cyber tag. It goes a little something like this: Anyone who reads the blog is "it". In order to become "not it", the reader has to submit feedback or "comments" regarding future topics they would like to have me blog about. We would also enjoy hearing about what you enjoy most about the blogs, as well as, what you enjoy least about the blogs.

And don't forget: You are ALWAYS welcome to come down and check out Hockey Heritage North (this is where the magic happens - and by magic I mean where the blogs are birthed).

Until next blog,

Cheer Loud, Cheer Long, Cheer Often!
